InstaGlam Dolls Review

Alyssa just loves make-up and add glitter and she will be your friend for life. She has a little bit of kids play make up and always asks for blusher when I am putting on some make-up. So she was super happy to review the new Shimmer N Sparkle Instaglam dolls from Character Toys; collectable 4 inch fashion dolls which each come with hidden makeup inside.

Shimmer N Shine InstaGlam dolls are stylish, fashionable dolls each with a hidden make up set surprise. There are four InstaGlam dolls to collect in total (Nina, Luna, Hayley and Evie) and each doll comes with a removable sponge and brush applicator which are disguised as hair clips on each doll. They also contain hidden make up compartment which contains a makeup palette featuring two eye shadows and two lip glosses as well as a mini lipstick too and a mirror to help you complete your look.

The dolls themselves stand at around 4 inches tall and have poseable heads that are also removable so that you can take the palette with you wherever you go or even swap heads on the dolls to mix and match them. Every doll also comes complete with a shiny gold stand that they stand on and that can be used to display your dolls, the stands each have the dolls names on too so you know who is who.

At £9.99 would make a fun present for a kid who loves to do their makeup. I am not a huge fan of kids wearing make-up BUT this stuff is really pale and barely shows, plus is in pale colours. If your child is looking for a bold look, this will not do it, but the subtle, slightly sparkly colours work for us. Alyssa has fairly sensitive skin and has had no reaction whatsoever and it all washes off really easily with a flannel and water. You will also be happy to know that if your child happens to wipe it on the walls or carpet like mine did, it DOES NOT STAIN!
