Hello. My name is Katie and I am a thiry-something year old woman who believes in Santa. No I have not gone my whole life believing in him, there were some dark times when I lost the magic but then I realised if I wanted to believe in the magic and feeling of Christmas then what harm would it do?! I am now the most excitable person at Christmas because to me it is pure magic and I am enjoying every second of giving that magic to my daughter as well. Part of that is of course fuelling her belief in the magic that is  Santa. Now, we go to visit Santa, we put the drink and snack out for him with a carrot for Rudolph and we have an elf who goes off to talk to him each night to let him know whether or not Alyssa has been good. However, the best thing that we do and which I will continue to do for as long as Alyssa let’s me, is making her a video from Santa with out PNP (Portable North Pole) console which creates nothing short of a wow moment for my little one.

In case you haven’t heard of it. PNP or Portable North Pole is a website where you can make videos from Santa and his elves for your little ones. I actually did one last year for Alyssa and her reaction was amazing. Take a look…

With her being a bit older now and much more aware of what Christmas is I thought that I simply had to do another one this year and so I headed over to the console to make one. I was really pleased to discover that in the last year they have added LOADS more videos to choose from – A Christmas Eve one, naughty or nice, elves working and so much more. You can have a little look at the preview before hand so you know what will be on each video.

It takes mere minutes to make a film – you upload a picture of your child, input their name, birthday and perhaps what they would like for Christmas or some names of family members and within minutes the film is ready to do. Want to know what the best part is? It’s that Santa actually says your child’s name. The first time Alyssa heard Santa saying her name was a real wow moment for her and this year was no different.

I decided that this year we’d do all the videos in the lead up to Christmas and so far she’s had one and we’ve got many more to come. Once they are ready you can also download them so your child can watch them again and again. If you want to see Alyssa’s latest reaction, why not head on over to my Instagram and check out My Stories – you won’t want to miss out!

To sign up for PNP yourself simply visit www.portablenorthpole.com where you can organise videos and even phone calls for your child from Santa for as little as £7.99  and watch the Christmas magic come alive.

  1. WE did these a few Christmases with iur two and they loved them – even if Santa could only pronounce my son’s name with a distinctly American emphasis on the second sylabble whoch was amusing. Cute though. #ABloggingGodTimne

  8. Oh these videos bring back memories of when I did these with my boys. We even got certificates sent to us in the mail addressed to each kid. I still remember my boys’ reactions when they heard Santa say their names. I just love these videos!
