Rainy Days with Lighthouse Clothing

*Ad-Gifted. All opinions are my own.

There is nothing worse than cold rainy days, except when you have no choice but to go out in them and get totally and utterly soaking wet. I swear I blink and Alyssa has outgrown her latest coat and I have to say that Mr Tutu’s coat is so old that it is starting to look thread-bare. So, when Lighthouse Clothing offered to send us raincoats for the whole family, I was over the moon and couldn’t wait to see us all in our semi-matching coats!

Look great and stay dry, whatever the weather.

Celebrate the simple moments, live a little slower and treasure everyday adventures.

Wouldn’t it be great to worry less about the weather and instead enjoy the moment you are in? Happily you can, because Lighthouse Clothing have you covered.

To encourage a simpler, more joyful life, they create style led weatherproof clothing for the daily dash, easy coastal wanders and the wild and wonderful everyday.

Their coats have been designed with care in Northern Ireland – where they know a lot about rain, wind and patchy weather forecasts. Inspiration comes from their love of the coast and their desire to make life a little simpler.

Lighthouse products are beautifully crafted, designed with style and ready for life’s everyday adventures. By being ready for anything, it makes your life a little simpler.

Each of their coats & jackets are as much at home on the high street or at the school gates as they are on a long beach walk in coastal drizzle. Ready and waiting for any weather that you encounter in daily life, everyday adventures and weekend escapes.

For Mr Tutu, I chose the Portland Jacket in a gorgeous red. He prefers shorter jackets and as long as it’s warm, comfy and waterproof he is happy. Portland is made from robust, polyester outer fabric, boasting internal and external zipped pockets. Fully waterproof and breathable, with a mesh lined interior, it offers all the weather protection you need in a casual, stylish cut.

I have always wanted a yellow jacket with a navy nautical style lining and so the Long Iona Coat was just perfect for me. Whether it is winter wanderings, school runs in the rain or an outdoor coffee with friends, the Iona Long offers the security of being waterproof, windproof and breathable, with a powder soft microfibre peach finish. Be it Bonfire Night or Christmas carolling, warmth is ensured with padding, a cosy soft jersey striped lining and lined integral hood. The addition of two side entry front pockets and a zipped internal pocket means valuables can be kept secure even on the stormiest day.

Finally for Alyssa, it had to be pink and again she prefers a shorter jacket but wanted to match me a little which is why the Amelia Coat was the right fit. Whether it is blustery walks to nursery or school, or seaside picnics sprayed with showers, the soft fleece lining and insulated padding combine to provide warmth whilst wind and waterproofing enable complete protection from the elements. Having ensured the coat is functional, it’s time for the fun! The vibrant Bright Pink tone, or the hand drawn Rainbow or Farm Life prints provide a contrasting zip and two front pockets, which offer a handy home for treasures found on your travels. Any mud or mess can be easily removed in the washing machine.

Overall, we absolutely loved our Lighthouse Clothing Raincoats and have no doubt they’ll last us for a long time to come!
