New Blume Dolls Series 1: Grow Out of Flowerpots| A Review

Ad – Gifted. All Opinions are My Own.
When she was really little, Alyssa loved baby dolls and had her own little rocking crib and wooden pram that she used to push the babies and the poor cats around in. I think it almost helped her to secure her walking. However, once on the move she seemed kind of done with them and we haven’t really had any since as it has just not been her thing. What has been her thing has been figurines that she can collect, be they from her favourite TV program or simply ones that spark her imagination. So, when we were asked to review the new Blume dolls, we were super excited because they would be a new collectable for her to try out.

Blume dolls in their packets

If you haven’t heard of them, let me enlighten you. A little bit of water reveals a whole lot of magic in the outrageous world of Blume! Anything but ordinary, Blume dolls come hidden inside flowerpots just waiting to be discovered… and they need you. Best of all, who you grow and get is always going to be a total surprise.

Each doll features unique, over the top hairstyles and outfits that can be swapped and interchanged with other dolls in the series that you collect. Each flowerpot comes stacked with 10+ surprises that include fashion shoes, a sticker sheet and a mini friend as well as a secret playset. There are 22 Blume dolls to collect from the standard to the very rare!

Want to see how they “blume?” Take a look at this!

We were so super happy to receive three of these amazing characters and were lucky enough to get 2 rare and 1 super rare which really made our day. I think this is a great new collectable for Alyssa to start collecting and she completely agrees. There are loads in the series. Of course, there is a risk of getting the same ones but that is true of any collection.

All the parts and pieces are interchangeable and what I really like is that there is very little waste as the flowerpot turns into their home so there is just the wrapping and the popping mechanism from inside to bin.

When you first get your flowerpot, thanks to the outside wrapping, there is no way to know what kind of doll you have. However, remove the wrapping and check out the colour of the flowerpot; Gold for super rare, Purple for rare and a Yellow for adorable (the normal ones.)

Available from Smyths Toys and an RRP of £9.99 makes these a great buy and so much fun…. For the kids too!
