Let’s Feed the Very Hungry Caterpillar board game – Review and Giveaway

*Ad – Gifted. All opinions are our own.
We have always been a family who has enjoyed board games. Whether it is a special family occasion like Christmas or just because we fancy it, we’ve loved nothing more than grabbing some drinks and munchies and settling in for a good session of board games… and believe me, we have A LOT! Alyssa has always watched on or we have waited until she has gone to bed because let’s face it, Monopoly is stressful enough without a four year old. However, she has started to really take a keen interest in games, so I thought it was about time to get her some age appropriate ones she could actually join in with. We’ve been sent the Let’s Feed The Very Hungry Caterpillar Game from Paul Lamond Games to review.#

Transform your caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly with this brand-new board game based on the best-selling book. The idea of the game is that children move their caterpillars from fruit to fruit, collecting a unique butterfly puzzle piece each time they stop to eat. The first player to collect all five puzzle pieces and build a beautiful butterfly wins the game.

This board game is great for developing decision making skills as well as being able to mix and match beautiful illustrations to create a different butterfly each and every game. This is designed for 2-4 players ages 3 and up and has an RRP of £15.00.

We really enjoyed this game. It was super easy to play but not boring and kept Alyssa really entertained. She loves the book and so this really brought it to life. It encourages mathematics and co-ordination skills and she just loves seeing her beautiful butterfly at the end!

You can purchase the Let’s Feed The Very Hungry Caterpillar Game from Argos and other retailers.
