One thing I am eternally grateful for that blogging has brought into my life is friends. A big group of friends, most of which I speak to on a daily basis. If we don’t speak for a few days, it doesn’t matter as we just simply jump in and pick up where we left off. We laugh together, we cry together, we share our achievements and commiserate together. It’s a wonderful feeling to know that people are there for you and that people care. When something happens whether it’s actions or words we rally together and try and do something to help even if in fact it is merely sending virtual hugs. However, this time it just didn’t seem enough…
For those of you that do not know her, our darling friend and tribe member Louise writes the blog Little Hearts, Big Love all about her family including her beautiful daughter Jessica who was born with only half a working heart. We have all followed and supported Louise, Michael, Jessica and Sophie in their family life and even more so recently when Jessica underwent major heart surgery and did so well.
However, this morning on the 14th April 2018, we received word from Louise that sadly little warrior Jessica had passed away suddenly in the night. I may not have met Louise and Jessica in person but I sat down and cried. I cried for Jessica, I cried for Louise, I cried for their whole family. I cannot imagine the grief they must be going through or how they must be feeling and the tribe as a whole felt the same.
We wanted to do something to honour the memory of Jessica and with the family’s permission have decided to raise money for Little Hearts Matter, a charity that means a lot to the whole family.
There is nothing we can do to bring back this beautiful little warrior but we can do something to show how much people thought of her and what a huge impact she had upon the world!

There are no words which will ever be enough but at least this is an action which shows what we want to say. The heartbreak and shock has numbed me all day. Sending love to them all. #tribalchat
