Meet: TammyMyum

Hi I am Sarah aka Tammymum.

I am mum to two young babies. My baby girl has just turned 19 months and baby boy is now 8 months. Yep that’s right, there is 11 months (and a day) between them. Life is busy and full on and I don’t get two minutes to do anything that is not centred around the babies. So my time (blogging) is mostly reserved for evenings. I’m a general coffee, wine and chocolate enthusiast who doesn’t get enough sleep (standard). A wannabe fitness fanatic, beauty follower and cook. Quite honestly a  Jack of all, master of none.

Both my babies came early but baby 2 was definitely a little undercooked and has been a little poorly in his short life but he has made some good progress and is doing a lot better of late. I am currently on maternity leave from my job as a lawyer, my working fate is yet to be decided so watch this space.

I have been blogging for just over 4 months and although it was something I wanted to do for a while I started it on a bit of a whim, I didn’t look into it much (at all) or really know what I was doing. I just downloaded WordPress and wrote about our family Holiday and thus Tammymum was born. I am still learning a lot about blogging, particularly the technical side and intend to face the dreaded ‘going self hosted’ task in the not to distant, so again, watch this space.

The name Tammymum is based on where we live – Tamworth. A small (ish) town in the West Midlands just outside of Birmingham. I live there with my babies, their dad and step daughter. Although it is now my home and that of my babies I am originally from Bristol – that is my home. It is where my family and friends are and where I feel most at home. I love and miss it in equal measure but it’s not too far away so we try and get back as much as possible.

So that’s me in about 350 words. I’d like to thinks there’s more to me but there probably isn’t and if there were you’d probably stop reading…
