Hello, I’m Louise and I blog over at http://littleheartsbiglove.co.uk
I’m a full-time mummy of two beautiful little girls – my little heart warrior Jessica who is four and was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (basically she has half a working heart) and is living proof that miracles do happen and my heart-healthy toddler Sophie who is two and is just a little bundle of joy. The last few years have been quite a journey for our family and many of my posts share some of our experiences as a heart family. Since Jessica’s diagnosis, I have met many other families in similar situations to ours and it has been so helpful to be able to share stories and experiences.
As well as my posts about congenital heart defects, my blog is a mish-mash of general parenting-related posts, crafts, days out, reviews, my thoughts on the world around me and the odd bit of creative writing here and there.  I also host two linkies – From the Mouths of Babes, every Monday, which is all about the things children say, and a monthly linky for other heart families called Heart to Heart which opens on the 15th of each month.
Outside of my life as a mummy (and a blogger!), I love musical theatre, dancing, researching family history, reading (especially historical novels) and being involved in my local church – my faith is a huge part of who I am and has helped sustain me through many of the difficult moments of our journey since Jessica’s diagnosis. I’m also currently studying online for a Level 3 HR course as part of my role within my husband’s company (I work part-time from home on payroll).
