A free app coming soon for people to locate children’s clubs and activities around the U.K. People will be able to input their location, child’s age and interest to view results related to them.
The CLUB HUB Story begins with….
Tessa Robinson  –  Tessa Louise Robinson’s ‘Club Hub’ journey began back in September 2014, when she had more time than she wanted on her hands. After having not as much acting work as she had hoped for she decided to create ‘Tessa’s Jazz Hands’; her own Musical Theatre Children’s Club in East Sheen in South West London. Tessa was already a well-known babysitter in the area and with her Mum working at the local school she managed to secure a few children
 to join her club. Tessa started teaching children every Wednesday after school, everything she could in terms of acting, singing and dancing. At the time she only had a few children coming each week which sparked her idea which has now become Club Hub. Tessa thought that there should be a way that she could promote her after school club to all the local parents of East Sheen. She then thought about creating an app where people could locate all the children’s clubs in their area – a simple app where parents could input their child’s age and interests, and the search results would list local clubs and their details. This was just a pipe dream though as financially it wasn’t viable, so she continued to promote ‘Tessa’s Jazz Hands’ on social media similar to every other children’s club she knew. She put the idea to the back of her mind and began working in other jobs to support herself financially.
Then she found Ideas Britain, an app where you could upload your idea and get it out to the world. Following advice, feedback and virtual investments ‘Club Hub’ began to flourish, getting hundreds of views each day and rising to the top of the in sport competition that Ideas Britain had created. Suddenly Tessa received an email from Ideas Britain asking her to have a meeting with the founder and CEO of ‘The Lighthouse Company’ (one of the coaches supporting the app). This was an incredible opportunity for her and she couldn’t believe the amount of support everyone was giving her.
After the meeting everything went quiet for a while but what she didn’t realise was that from Ideas Britain filming her interview and promoting it, ‘Club Hub’ was rising to the top of the competition. On the 25th of February 2016 Tessa came second in the in sport competition and was told to wait till March to hear anything. She thought about starting to develop ‘Club Hub’ herself as she had already won a prize in the competition; meeting one of their coaches who, with discussion gave her additional Ideas for the app. She thought she wouldn’t receive anything else as that was the best opportunity she could have hoped for. As everything had gone quiet once again, Tessa decided to do things for herself, building up a database of parents and children’s clubs on social media and asking her college friend to create the app logo.
Little did she know of what was around the corner, as on the 21st of March 2016, Ideas Britain contacted Tessa giving her some incredibly exciting news!
