Posterlounge | A Review

I don’t think I’ve got the eye for interior design. It’s just not something I have as much as I’d like it. This is probably because I have never really had the chance to have free reign to decorate. I know what I like and I do love aspects of interior design, particularly colour blocking and cushions, all the cushions. Something I do quite enjoy is picking pictures to hang on the wall in various ways and designs. So, when Posterlounge got in touch to ask if I’d like to try out some of their amazing pictures and frames, I couldn’t say no as they really do have something for the whole family!

So for those not in the know, Posterlounge is an online company with a huge collections of prints and posters in different sizes and finishes to decorate your home with. They also sell the frames and wall hangings you can use as well, meaning it’s a great one-stop shop for everything you could need, wall wise!

I decided to go around the family and see what my family would like to order for themselves and their homes, as well as choosing something for me too! My brother has just got his own home space and despite being 24 still loves the old school games and programs from his past. So he was excited to choose this Vegeta Fury poster which I’m told I believe is from Dragonball Z…. but don’t quote me. Anyway, in a large black frame on a statement wall, this looks awesome!

My mum has always been interested in holistic treatments and homeopathic remedies and even trained as a holistic beauty therapist as well as having aromatherapy training too.  So, when she spotted this The Seven Chakras spiritual art piece, she felt really drawn to it. She decided to order it in Acrylic glass which is amazing and has a gorgeous finish. Posterlounge also very kindly include wall hangings when you order something in acrylic glass too.

Of course, I couldn’t leave out the little one as she is really starting to have an opinion on what she likes and doesn’t like and at the moment it is pink, fairies and unicorns. So when I spotted this Kidz Collection Unicorn Poster I knew it would be perfect for her and sit nicely within her room. I have actually stuck this up as a poster on her door as she loves looking at it at night.

Finally, I wanted some nice, recognisable prints for around the home, so I went with a couple of classics; Monet’s Water Lilies and Van Gogh’s Starry Night. I got one in Acrylic glass for a side table and one in poster form to go in a frame on the wall. I love the colours and they really draw the eye which was the idea.
