Laughter is the Best Medicine: The Gift Experience Review & Giveaway

You know how they say “Laughter is the Best Medicine”?? Well, sometimes it really is and all you need is a hearty good chuckle to make you feel just a little bit better. Laughter is also rather infectious isn’t it? If someone starts laughing then we all generally begin laughing too… not laughing at the same thing but laughing at the fact that they are laughing so much. So imagine the absolute chaos when we invited a laughing kitten into the house…

The lovely people over at The Gift Experience asked us if Alyssa would like to try out one of their lovely toys… well, she wouldn’t say no would she?!? Now my little bubba absolutely loves Cats (we have 2 tortured and 1 adoring cats here!!) so how could I not ask for the Kitten Giggle Ball to try. Ordering was super easy and the Kitten arrived carefully packaged and ready to go! grey cuddly toy kitten

One thing I have to say that I loved was that you know how annoying it is when kids get a new toy and they are really excited but it takes you 2 hours to surgically remove it from all the ties and close up of the kitten toy restraints in the box??! Well, not with this one, there was just one little loop around the middle and that was it.

I did need to add batteries (3 xAA) but this only took 2 minutes and the battery pack is hidden very well in a velcro pouch underneath and what I really liked was that you cannot really feel it if you hug the cat which was perfect as Kitten received A LOT of cuddles and “Ahhhhs” from Alyssa.

Her face was an absolute picture when to her utter amazement I pressed the paw and Kitten began to do just what it said on the box and began to giggle and shake with laughter. Alyssa was very surprised and we got a few “ooo” “ooohs” but then the laughter began and I couldn’t help it because then I was laughing too and then before we knew it, Nonna had come in to see what the fuss was all about and soon she was having a good giggle too – the Kitten Giggle Ball certainly lives up to it’s name!!

It has to be said that our order, delivery and toy from The Gift Experience have all been excellent and I would certainly recommend anyone to use them and they have such a huge range of gifts for kids and adults including experience days and spa experiences…. can I try one of those next?!? However, they didn’t only offer us a gift…
