Kaya Jewellery: Beautiful Handmade Jewellery For Mother & Child

A few days after Alyssa was born, my sister and brother in law came to visit me in hospital to congratulate me and meet the new arrival. They came bringing gifts for bubba which included a beautiful outfit and a lovely Minnie Mouse snuggle which she sleeps with to this day. However, my wonderful sister also had a gift for me and it was a beautiful silver necklace with baby footprints on and Alyssa’s name and date of birth… I haven’t taken it off once since I put it on and I cherish it. I think it is so important to have keepsakes for special times and have always had a memory somewhere in my house for as long as I can remember.

I want to make as many memories as possible with my daughter and find and create as many keepsakes as possible to help me remember every moment and that is where KAYA JEWELLERY come in. They offered to let me try some of their beautiful jewellery so how could I not accept?! They do all sorts of jewellery from Occasions such as Christenings and Birthdays to Mummy jewellery to Mummy & Baby jewellery – can you guess what I chose? Yup… how could I resist getting Alyssa and I matching bracelets from the gorgeous Mummy and Baby range!!

I browsed through KAYA JEWELLERY’s site, which is really easy to use and separated into sections to make whatever you are searching for easy to find. In the end I chose the ‘Mum & Me Shine Bright’ bracelet set which included a bracelet for me and a bracelet for Alyssa both of which had a charm on them which I was able to choose.

I ended up choosing ‘I Love You’ for my bracelet and ‘Forever’ for Alyssas which also had and outline of a mother holding a baby. However, there were so many I could have chosen from and the selection available was huge.

I was so pleased when they arrived a few days after I had chosen them. They were each wrapped in plastic inside beautiful pink Japanese style draw-string bags. Each came with a special cleaning cloth and a blank card so that had they been a gift, I would have been able to write a card for each bracelet.

The bracelets themselves were simple but beautiful. They are made up of white mother-of-pearl beads, white crystals, silver plated ball beads and silver stars with the silver heart charms as well. It was wonderful opening them and seeing the identical bracelets just in large and mini size – I think the words “super-cute” may have escaped my lips! I think for a matching set they were great value for money… I am going to put them away in her memory box for when she is a little bit older and then get them out for a special occasion and I know she will be so excited as she is already very conscious of looking cute and pretty – such a little diva!

If you are looking for a special keepsake then I would definitely recommend KAYA JEWELLERY for something simple yet beautiful. I noticed that they also have a “3 Generations” section where you can get three of the same bracelets in differing sizes so I am sorely tempted to return next mother’s day as you all know how close Alyssa and I are to my mum and I think she would absolutely love it!! As I mentioned before they came beautifully wrapped which you don’t have to pay extra for and…. it’s FREE delivery too – BONUS! I have to say it arrived super-fast too which works really well for me as I am still suffering from major baby brain and have a brain like a sieve so KAYA JEWELLERY are really good for last minute presents too!
