You’d be forgiven from reading the title for thinking that I had gone absolutely bananas or that I attempting to be some sort of hip rapper (do hip rappers say that?!!) but have no fear I still have some form of sanity, I think… and that could partly be thanks to the wonderful Premier Estates Wine. Before I became pregnant, I loved to go out drinking with friends and would think nothing of sinking shot after shot after vodka and coke after jagerbomb on a Saturday night out and live with the consequences the next day. When I found out I was pregnant, obviously I stopped drinking but something seemed to change in me from the moment I gave birth. I don’t know if it  is being a single parent and therefore being solely responsible or what but I really felt like I couldn’t drink at all. It took me a whole year after birth before I even had a drink and began to relax. Now, I don’t drink often and definitely don’t indulge like I used to but there is certainly nothing wrong with enjoying a drink in the evening and Premier Estates Wine sent me some fizz to try to feel truly indulgent…
Now, when I say that I relax  in the evening with a drink, it is usually a very small G&T or one of those individual cans of rum and coke – something simple and not at all strong. I did used to love drinking wine and had some lovely pink Moscato to celebrate my sister’s 30th birthday. So imagine my joy when Premier Estates Wine offered to send me not one but two bottles of fizz to try – of course I had to get the family to help as there was no way I was going to get through it all myself!
Firstly, they sent me a bottle of their multi-award winning Prosecco DOC Sparkling Wine! I love a good prosecco (I don’t know if it’s a blogger thing as we  all seem to bloody love the stuff!!) and this was definitely a good prosecco!
“Our Prosecco DOC Millesimato is made using Glera grapes from Valdobbiadene in the Veneto region of North Eastern Italy, thereby ensuring the highest possible quality of prosecco. It has a pale straw colour with hints of honeysuckle, citrus, pear and apple, aromatic with a hint of sweetness and a fine delicate finish. “
It was delicious and fruity which was welcome as I am not overly keen on anything too dry as I then end up sweetening it with lemonade which actually defeats the idea of drinking it really doesn’t it?! This was delicious though and we felt a little bit like “ladies what lunch” sipping, okay slurping, this back!
They also sent me their beautifully pink Grand Rose Sparkling Wine. Now I love fizz and I love pink so this just suited me down to the ground and after the go
rgeous Moscato I had for my sister’s birthday, I wasn’t sure we’d be able to top it!
“Our Grand RosĂ© is made using grapes from the Veneto region of North Eastern Italy, thereby ensuring this pink sparkler is of the highest possible quality and surely one of the best available within its price point. It is pale pink in colour, elegant with hints of fresh ripe summer fruits, floral rose aromas and has a delicate sweetness.”
It really was delicious – I like sweet wine and whilst this was sweet it wasn’t dessert sweet – it was actually quite perfect! It was fruity and yet crisp and went down far to easily and would have been one I would have quite happily drunk all to myself…but then I would have been on the floor. This would be absolutely something I would drink again and again… special occasion or not!
Thoroughly recommend that the next time you are celebrating something like a birthday or it being Tuesday (that’s an actual valid celebration!!) that you head on over to Premier Estate Wines and pick out a lovely selection to enjoy – I know I will be?!

I’m the same, i’m really not bothered about drinking now. I’ll have the very occasional few with friends over dinner. But i’m more than happy with 1 small one once the kids are in bed. I don’t drink when i’m out with them either. No judgement on people that do, i just prefer not to. #foodiefriday
exactly the same as me lovely xx
Thanks for hosting, they both sound nice. I prefer sweet fizzy wine like Asti but would definitely try these two đŸ™‚ #foodiefriday
