I never thought I’d be someone who would think of Kitchenware as an appropriate gift. Don’t get me wrong, if someone gave me a toaster I’d not be over the moon but I think there are in fact certain gifts you can give and ways in which you can give them to make them pretty amazing. Brass Box are the most amazing wood carvers, that do everything from cheeseboards to wooden santa boards to personalised family chopping boards like the picture below. I grew up on musicals which is possibly why I ended up on the Westend singing them which is honestly one of the biggest achievements of my life. I never thought I’d be the person to love gin but I do… I can’t help it. The tang and flavour won me over after years of me thinking it was foul. So I suppose that makes me currently bang on trend as it seems to be you’re not a mummy or at least a blogger unless you’re supping Gin, Prosecco or Wine. Well I am going to go with the gin and don’t have one every day or even every week but when I do it is delicious and I am looking forward to a Christmas and New Year full of it. I love music. If I am not listening to the radio or a cd then I am singing along myself and making my own music. Alyssa is the same. There is nothing to say that when you grow up you have to grow up completely. I have never been one for making New Years Resolutions – I did when I was younger and you could guarantee they’d be out the window within a fortnight and I’d be back to my old habits and ways.
