I have always enjoyed dressing Alyssa, right from the moment she was born. I dressed her in all sorts when she was a baby and she has grown into a super girly girl who loves to dress in bright colours and patterns. She is stereotypical in that she LOVES pockets and if a dress or a skirt has them then she loves it. She hates and point blank refuses to wear jeans and I have a huge problem getting her into any shorts or trousers as she much prefers dresses and skirts. When My Little Green Wardrobe got in touch and asked us if we wanted to try a couple of their clothing items, Alyssa was delighted at the prospect of new clothes!

I have to say the range they have available is undeniable and they feature items from many different designers and makers from infant all the way through to seven year olds (thankfully!!) So that I could show different parts of the range, they very kindly sent me something from their baby range for my adorable little neighbour.

This roll-leg baby set make dressing little ones a breeze! Made from the softest organic cotton fabrics, this white top has Lilly + Sid’s bestselling dino characters to make you smile. Comes with coordinating jersey dino print bottoms in the coolest shade of green this season, with contrasting waistband and drawstring. Makes a great gift for special little people. What I loved is that the bottoms are adjustable, so they can be full length trousers or you can roll them up and button them to make shorts – he looks totally adorable.

Your little girl will look so special in this pastel-coloured candy stripe playsuit. Featuring a wide leg style with two pockets either side and popper fastening to the bodice for easy peasy dressing. A beautiful outfit for fun summer playdates. Sustainably made from organic cotton under fair working conditions. Alyssa looked gorgeous in this and very grown up. The legs are a little long on her at the moment but that just means this cute outfit will last longer!

These girl’s twirly skirts make a statement this season. The beautiful mermaid print and full skirted style will make this the highlight of any little girl’s green wardrobe. Ideal for any summer occasion, and coordinates perfectly with so many tops – just add sandals! Made from the softest organic cotton fabric with a softly elasticated waist that makes it perfect for comfort fitting for all day wear.

My Little Green Wardrobe wins first ever Sustainable Business category in the UK’s biggest lifestyle business awards.  

Sustainable baby and childrenswear website, My Little Green Wardrobe, has been named the winner of the Best Sustainable Berkshire Business in the Muddy Stilettos Awards – the first time the category has been contested.

The winners across all categories were announced on Tuesday (21st June). The awards saw fierce competition with an astonishing 75,000 businesses nominated nationwide and 765,000 votes cast. The organisers confirmed this year was the biggest awards event they’ve held to date.

It comes the same week as the Maidenhead-based business celebrates its first birthday. The site curates clothing for children 0-6 yrs that is sustainably-produced and ethically-made, and allows customers to filter clothing according to their own values.

Shoppers can select from criteria including people, planet, vegan, gives back etc, to ensure they are spending their money with brands that align with their own ethos.

Owner and founder of My Little Green Wardrobe, Lucy Todd, said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have received this award – and on the same week as the website’s first birthday!  Cause for double celebrations!
