I’m currently on a countdown and it feels so bloody far away. In fact I have several countdowns going on in my life at the moment but there is one I am equally both looking forward to and dreading at the same time. We’ve managed to book a family holiday in September which I honestly cannot wait for but at the same time, I feel like my diet is on a rapid countdown to then as well and I want to lose as much weight as possible so I don’t do a damn good orca impression round the pool. The more time I spend in England the more I wonder if I am actually meant to live in another country. I did it before and obviously could not just up sticks and leave like I did last time but it is so tempting. Of course that just means I need more holidays in the meantime and I’ve received some Denia Information, a little city in Spain…

Is it bad that I am already looking for holidays for next year? It’s the only was as a single mama I can afford it and honestly I want to get as many in for Alyssa as possible before I am forced to go in school holidays and pay astronomical prices! The last holiday we went on was last November and we have on in September so I need to start thinking of next year. Immoabroad got in touch and asked if I’d like to collaborate with them on where I’d like to go on holiday next year. The suggested that I looked at Denia.the wing of an airplane seen from the plane window at sunrise

Denia is a port city on the Mediterranean coast of Spain. Immoabroad sent me loads of Denia Information to look at and I’ve got to say it looks amazing. Something that appealed straight away was that it was only just over an hour away from Alicante airport meaning not a huge transfer after the plane journey which with a toddler is very important.

It has miles and miles of sandy beaches which again is perfect for families and has over 3000 hours of sunshine every year meaning that you’d be pretty unlikely to go at any time when it didn’t have the sun shining.

It honestly looks like it will have something for the whole family as there are beaches and hotels with pools as well as national parks and museums if you like to go culture exploring whilst on holiday. It is also smack bang in the middle between Benidorm and Valencia so, if we hired a car there are also places to go and visit.

I’m very fortunate that I live in and around beaches and ports in England and I love going somewhere similar on holiday but with a lot more sunshine. In fact I’d be more than happy to buy a holiday home in Denia if I had the money. Until then, it is definitely on my list of places to visit with the family in the near future… I need some of those hours of sunshine!
