#ABloggingGooodTime Week 65

Welcome to #FOODIEFRIDAY Week 49
6th October 2017
One of the things I love most about my daughter is her imagination. It’s HUGE! In her world, anything and everything does come to life and have a voice and it is wonderful to watch. I’ll secretly watch her sometimes and I can see her literally wonder off in her own mind to somewhere else completely and come back and join us when she’s ready. I’m kind of hoping she’s off somewhere away with the fairies playing really good games and getting up to mischief! One of the biggest sources or aids to Alyssa’s imagination is her figurines. So being asked to review the Lion Guard – Rise of Scar Play set and figurine, I had to say yes and so we decided to have a How to Play, Test and Review Session

Now, my girl knows how to start a collection that’s for sure. We started out with a few rubber In the Night Garden figurines and now have the Teletubbies, Disney Princesses, Bing, Flop and lots of random ones too. We’ve also started trying to set up little play scenes for them as well to give her an area to interact with them. When we were asked to review the Lion Guard Play set – The Rise of Scar, I had to say yes as it came with a gorgeous little figurine and a perfect play area for Alyssa to go on more adventures. I decided to pop together a little demo vlog for you guys to show you all the features, how it works and give it a little test. Check it out…

As I said in the vlog, a great play set for any child and I am sure it will be on a lot of lists come December this year. If you find yourself with a child wanting one, they are available at Smyths Toy Store so you should definitely roar on over and grab one.

With so few pieces that come off (a total of two!!) it’s a great set to have and keep in good condition because there aren’t pieces to really lose meaning that it will always be possible to play with it. Another good thing is that you can add to it, like I said in the vlog by adding more pieces and characters to it.

A definite thumbs up from us!

**We were sent the Lion Guard Play set for the purposes of this review – all opinions are my own.
