The Tiger Who Came to Tea 

Inspired by Judith Kerr’s phenomenal picture book, the Olivier Award Nominated theatre adaptation of the Tiger Who Came to Tea has been captivating audiences for over 10 years! In 2020, the show comes to the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London, the Princess Theatre Torquay as well as many other UK venues. 

Following the much-loved story of little Sophie, who is joined by a big furry tiger at the dinner table, the Tiger Who Came to Tea features fun songs, a life-sized friendly tiger and audience interaction. Suitable for children over three years of age, the Tiger Who Came to Tea is a family show the little ones can enjoy!  

Horrible Histories- Barmy Britain Part 5

With its bizarre, unique and slightly gross take on history, Horrible Histories has succeeded in successfully engaging children in history around the world. First a series of extremely popular history books, Horrible Histories has since become a much-loved CBBC TV programme and enjoyed  several sell-out West End Runs. This summer holiday, it comes to the Apollo Theatre from the 30th July- 29th August with its fifth show: Horrible Histories – Barmy Britain Part 5. 

Taking the audience on a barmy journey through Britain’s history, expect to meet hilarious characters from each period, including Vicious Vikings, Terrifying Tudors and Vile Victorians. Featuring high-energy historical songs, compelling stories and plenty of slap-stick comedy, Horrible Histories will undoubtedly put a smile on children’s faces and at the same time, serve as a highly educational experience.

 

The Snowman 

A Christmas classic, the magical stage production of the Snowman has been enthralling audiences for over 25 years and has become a Christmas tradition for many.  Although Christmas seems very far away, tickets for the Snowman are expected to be in extremely high demand so it is worth booking ahead and it is showing at the Peacock Theatre from Saturday 21st November – Saturday 19th December.

Featuring sparkling set designs, spectacular choreography and a mesmerising musical score, including Howard Blake’s iconic ‘Walking the Air’, the Snowman really is the perfect Christmas treat. Be transported to the snowy sky with this enchanting musical production which can be enjoyed by children and adults alike!
