Personalising a Home with Desenio – A Review

[AD – Gifted]
In past posts I have written about living in rented housing and it just never feels quite like your own home. When we left the family home, we weren’t sure where we’d all be going and what we’d be doing, so a rental seemed to make the most sense for us and still currently does. However, as I said, this does mean that it doesn’t really feel like home some of the time. We’re fortunate to have a very relaxed landlord who isn’t overly fussed what we do, but we’re still reluctant to make any big or permanent changes, especially when we know it won’t be long until we’re moving.

In the meantime, we need to find ways to make our home our own that we can perhaps take with us when we move on once again. Desenio is perfect for that – I’m able to choose all sorts of prints from graphic to animal to kids to floral, there is something to suit everyone’s tastes. Even better, I’m also able to get frames and wall hangings there too, meaning it’s a one stop shop for prettying my walls.

black framed picture of blue gold and white swirlsDesenio very kindly allowed me to choose some prints for my home to help add my own personal touch. I have a lot of smaller pictures and canvases of my daughter and other family members round the home, but I felt in need of some larger statement pieces.

black framed poster of blue gold and white swirlsI decided to choose two matching but not matching prints called Blue Gold and Blue Tide. The use of colours, shades of blue and gold swirling together, really appealed to me and I think they are so interesting to look at because each time I look at them I see something new.

They are both in fact posters, but I didn’t want them to look this way, so I also chose to order some Black Picture Frames to make them stand out against the magnolia walls. What’s great about the posters and the prints is that they come in so many sizes and the frames have several colour options too.

I also wanted a small print to go in my bedroom, near the dressing table and so I chose a small version of Dreamer B&W because there was just something in her expression that I really loved.

I completely rate the service from Desenio having used them before and now and of course I will do again in the future… and you can too!
