Men: Are You All Just W*NKERS?!

No BooHoos Here…

Now you all remember my gorgeous nephew Rowan yeah? Well, he is growing up so fast and according to my sister just won’t stop growing… infact I am pretty sure he is taller than my mum now (his Nonna) though she’d never admit it! Anyway, with him growing so fast he is going through clothes like I go through baby wipes (which FYI do fix everything) so when BooHoo Kids offered to send him some clothes we jumped at the chance…

First of all let me say Rowan loved the clothes… I may have forgotten to mention he’d have to model and whilst he was a little reluctant to begin with he did a great job and I have to say was much easier to direct than Alyssa (at least he didn’t run away giggling and shouting “No Mummy!”) Anyway, he had recently gotten a couple of new pairs of jeans so we decided to focus on tops and we got him two t-shirts, a jacket and a zip-up hoodie all of which apparently are “what the cool kids wear these days!”

First up he got this “Boys Solid Colour Burnout Tee” which was his absolute favourite item out of everything… why? Because it was incredibly soft. It had an almost crushed velvet sort of feel meaning that it was quite warm and as she said very soft. It was great size wise on him too – so this top was a big hit!

The other t-shirt he got was this “Boys Ombre Dip Dye Long Line Tee” which he said was really cool and he liked the colour of. I have to say this t-shirt was quite thin and in the upper lighter area was quite see-through. It would be a great t-shirt for summer but I think he’ll probably need to wear another t-shirt underneath as otherwise he was feeling slightly self conscious like all pre-teen boys start to feel.

The first of his jackets that arrived was this “Boys Fleece Lined Hooded Sweat Top” which again he loved because it was really soft inside. It was a nice lighter grey colour and had big deep pockets for him to bury his hands in which was a definite requirement. It was also a good length on him and didn’t cut off too early so this was a definite hit!

Finally, Rowan received this “Boys Smart Bomber Jacket” which was slightly thinner than the hoodie but definitely a lot smarter meaning that with a jumper on underneath this could be worn out for every day or saved for best too. It has an easy zip up fastening and no hood adding to it’s less casual appearance.

Overall, we were really pleased with our Boohoo Kids experience – ordering was really easy and delivery was much quicker than expected. The only thing I would say is make sure you check the measurements as one top was a little shorter than we’d have preferred but other than that great clothing that my nephew loves. What do you say Rowan? “I give it 2 thumbs up Aunty Katie!”
