Can You Tell Me How to Get….

Moody Weather

Just like always, the sun has settled down and the wind has picked up its pace. The outside world has transitioned from bright, joyous greens to warm, comfortable oranges. Naturally, being outside becomes a little miserable and you have to go to extra lengths to stay cosy. This is even harder for parents as tantrums are bound to increase, grouchiness rearing its chilly head.

So how do you decrease this grouchiness? Well, the team at prams.net are here to help you with some tips!

It’s the most obvious answer, but you’d be surprised with how many people don’t bother to wrap up properly – and a woman in a wooly hat and scarf sideways on to the camerathen they’re shocked when they get hit with a cold!

You need to make sure you’ve got the following items of clothing (even if you don’t need them on a particular day, preparation is important):

Thermals, fluffy socks, a warm sweater, a big, cosy coat with a hood, protective, grippy shoes, a hat, gloves, a scarf.

And with a child, you’ll need to have a good pram to keep your child warm and safe!

With the Mamas and Papas Urbo 2 Buggy, you’ll have more than enough space for all of this, including extra space for any extra bags or shopping you’ve got at the same time as keeping your child comfortable in the weather when you go out.a mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows in

Other Choices

Food and drink can really help with keeping you and your child warm. Eating lots gives you more energy to burn through and keep you full and cosy.

Taking a flask with you filled to the brim with a hot beverage such as hot chocolate or tea can come in handy. Eating easily made but filling warm food such as soup can also be a blessing in disguise when the wind is at its worst.

Other foods that help keep you warm from the inside out are stew, casserole, curry, pasta and roast dinner; all comforting, hearty meals.a crochet knit multi coloured blanket on a bed with a pillow and the bed head blurred in the background with a lamp to the left

At Home

When at home, have your heating on and get comfortable! Have a movie day wrapping in your favourite pyjamas and duvet cover, fluffy slippers and a nice cup of hot chocolate.

Snuggle up with your children, close the curtains and spoil yourself.

Don’t forget, you can order your groceries online now – so why bother going outside in the cold? It’s time to gather your essentials and hibernate.
