Top Tips for Selling your Home this Year

One of the first questions I often get asked when people find out the name of my blog is why? Why that name. There are many reasons; I used to be a dancer and the fact that in my own imaginary world I am a tutu wearing fairy princess are just two of them. When I had my baby shower, the theme was tutus and Alyssa was born, owning a tutu in every size from premature baby all the way to two years old.  Her wardrobe currently holds about 5 in various colours, lengths and shades and she likes nothing more than to twirl in them. She is also following in mummy’s footsteps and is taking tap and ballet classes with Footlight Performance Academy and absolutely loves it – one of her favourite times of the week. I’ve been sharing pictures of Alyssa in her dance classes for a while now, so when Dance Gear got in touch and asked us if we’d like to be their ambassadors for the year, we were over the moon. Let me tell you a bit more about them…

Dance Gear is probably unique amongst UK dance wear suppliers: We’re run and staffed by people who are involved in dance professionally, or as amateurs and are passionate about dance.

We sell over 4000 product lines including some of your favourite dance Brands like Roch Valley, Bloch, Bunheads, Mirella, Freed of London, Capezio and Katz. We’ve chosen a carefully selected range of high quality dancewear, dance shoes and dance accessories, which we know, from our experience are fit for purpose and great value.

We also design and make our own unique range of dancewear in our Dance Gear Dancewear ‘Made to Order’ range. With over 80 different designs, each available in over 80 different fabrics, colours and patterns and 10 sizes for childrens dance wear and adults dance wear that’s around 70,000 unique choices!

So whether you’re looking for Leotards or Catsuits; or Crop Tops & Leggings & Tights; or Jazz Pants or Tutus & Skirts we’re sure you’ll find what you’re looking for.”

I have always loved wearing dance clothes – they make you feel good and are mostly super comfortable until you get to the competitive stage and en pointe in ballet but we’re a while away from that just yet! To kick start our ambassadorship, Alyssa was sent a great dance outfit; cropped pink dance top, black jazz pants, and pink attache case which she can use and rock in any dance class. I thought it would be fun to do a little photoshoot with her so she could show off her new gear…dance gear.

As you can see, someone loves her new dance gear and has really enjoyed showing it off at dance class. Being ambassadors for Dance Gear, means we’ll be popping up throughout the year to talk about dance, the positives it can bring to a dancer including health benefits and a creative outlet as well as showcasing more of their amazing dancewear.
