Since the beginning of blogging I have collected notebook upon notebook and post it notes and white boards and anything else deemed as stationery because I have a little bit of a problem…. I’m obsessed with it. Think of it like this… Staples and Paperchase are like my Mecca and I try to make pilgrimages to them as often as I can. However, this can result in notes and lists left all over the place and can lead me to being somewhat disorganised which I’m sorry just can’t happen. Have no fear though, Toad Diaries have rescued me….

Okay, I know what you’re thinking…. she just got ANOTHER notebook but I’m afraid I disagree. This is in fact my first ever Blogger Journal and I have to say after having received this one I cannot believe I’ve never had one before!! This journal has a lot of features that I reeeeaaalllllyyy like…

1 – It’s slimline and not too bulky meaning it fits into most of my bags including the over crowded baby changing bag!
2 –Â It’s got a handy little set of contacts forms at the beginning meaning I can jot down pr and media contacts when I’m out and about rather than worrying about trying to get into my spreadsheet!
3 – There are NO dates! This is by far my favourite feature. I’m often put off buying journals and diaries because I will use them for a couple of weeks and then forget about them or put them somewhere “safe” and when I get back to them there’s a whole host of pages I can’t use because they’re out of date! This one let’s you put your own dates in each day… so if I don’t use it for a day or two no harm done – GENIUS!

4 – Each double spread page is a day you work on. It’s split into 3 sections for top priorities, to do list and then a creative notes page which for me is handy because I doodle when I’m thinking. I love the fact there is a priority list because here I put the things that really matter for that day. Anything off of the regular to do list section is a bonus!
5 – I love the look and feel of it… the front cover states “I blog therefore I am!” The whole notebook is ring bound and has plastic outer covers protecting it from near fatal  coffee spillage disasters – an absolute must have seeing as everyone out there knows that a bloggers life force is coffee (that and stationery!!)
6 – Finally, I absolutely love that it is so simplistic. I did some research on blogger journals and you can get some lovely ones with fancy features but this is often too much when what you want to do is write notes and make lists. For me this journal is perfect in its simplicity.
