Being a brand rep for any brand is awesome but I have to say that I particularly adore Ted Wears Organic... why? Because I think the clothes and the concept is absolutely awesome! So who are they? Well let me tell you…. Ted Wears Organic is a practical and funky new independent kid’s clothing line. Created by Vicky, a mum herself to Ted who continues to inspire her sewing, she wanted to develop a range of play-wear that was able to withstand all the wriggling, jiggling, running, jumping and mischief making that little ones gets up to.
She also wanted these made-to-order clothes to scream style, be made from gorgeously soft organic fabric and be unique… Ted Wears Organic was born! Using high quality organic cotton with a touch of Scandi styling, the Pick and Mix Wardrobe principle ensures that you can create a unique co-ordinating outfit with ease.
The range starts from just £6 and includes t- shirts, leggings, harem pants, dresses, shorts, skirts, a ‘snap hat’ slouch beanie, and the ever versatile Maxaloones – ‘ the bottoms that grow!’ Many of the garments are also cloth bum friendly, especially the Maxaloones! To create an outfit is easy. Choose an item, say a tee, then decide on the main fabric. Will it be a print, plain or stripe? Add in a contrasting fabric perhaps for the arms and maybe a pop of colour for the neckline and you have a unique item of clothing especially for your little one. Add some leggings and a ‘snap hat’ and you then have a compete outfit.
The fabrics have been specifically chosen to co-ordinate but if you are not sure Vicky is happy to advise and send through suggestions. She prides herself on a personal service. So if you are looking for organic practical play-wear that screams style and will fit from 3m-6y, look no further and start creating your own Ted Wears Organic Wardrobe.
We were fortunate enough to be sent a 3-piece outfit which consisted of a top/dress, leggings and a headband. They came beauitfully wrapped in tissue paper with the Ted Wears Organic paw print sticker keeping it all together. The first thing I noticed were the gorgeous colours and fabrics. The read and pink hearts is such a gorgeous bold print and the bright turquoise compliments it really well. The fabric feels so lucuriously soft and with how easily Alyssa marks I was so pleased about this as I had no worries about popping it on her and was sure she would be comfortable.
The top/dress went on really easily and because it is slightly longer as I said could be worn as a dress this summer and as we move into winter and she gets taller (she is growing so damn fast) could quite easily be used as a top too! The leggings were awesome – kind of leggings meet harem pants! They had the tighter fit bands at the ankles so that meant that even if they were a bit long they would sit perfectly on Alyssa. She has just moved into a new clothing size so some things are a little long meaning this feature is excellent for us.
The headband was a little surprise that I did not know was coming and I have to say I gave a little squeal of delight!! Now if you follow us on Instagram or even just on the blog you will know that we are partial to a nice headband and I am very fortunate that Alyssa doesn’t seem to currently mind wearing them either. I can honestly say that this is one of the BEST headbands I have ever put on Alyssa. The reason for this is because it was completely adjustable as you tie it up yourself and the most amazing and yet simple feature was that it was STRETCH material – so simple and yet you would be surprised at how few headbands are stretchy like this one!

I love headbands too. My eldest daughter is Alyssa too, but I call her Aspen on the blog for privacy. I used to put cute little headbands on her when she was little and she still wears them as does my other daughter. I love the clothes that are beautiful and so is Alyssa #ablogginggoodtime
