Splash Splash. Quack Quack!

Say the words “Splash Splash” to Alyssa and she runs for the stairs because she knows that it is bath time and she absolutely loves it – she is such a water baby and has no qualms about water going over her head or anything… part of the fun by the looks of it! One of the things she loves most is all her bath toys – the toys she only gets to see for 20 minutes a day during bath time – toys that squirt water, toys that swim across the water, toys that squeak… soooo many toys! At one point we wondered what on earth to do with them all to make them look tidy rather than letting them sit at the bottom of the bath and scooping them all into the sink when an adult wanted to use the bath. Well, I found a video with some suggestions to help with all parenting bath time storage woes…

Some great ideas from Phil here – if I was more handy I’d definitely be making one of those storage ladders and unfortunately we don’t seem to have that available space under the bath or the room to make storage under our sink. However, we have decided to work with the space we have available and bought some suction pads and created a pouch that will sit on the tiles in the corner of the bath!

We are moving house soon (when our buyer finally sells theirs!!!) and when we do I will definitely be able to use some of the tips that Phil suggests in his video. As you can see Alyssa loves a good bath so I think we shall be spending a lot more time in there in the years to come with I am sure a lot more toys too – great tips Phil!!
