Successful is never really a word I have ever used to describe myself and especially not my blog. This is something I’m working hard to try and turn around. Slowly but surely its all coming together.
Before becoming a mummy I worked the 9-5 in an office. I would never have said I had a successful caeerer, I did my job for a long time (8 years in fact) and I could perform all of my duties with my eyes closed. 
Making the decision to not return to my job was one of the easiest decisions I have ever had to make.
Now I
have the best job and the hardest. One that I absolutely feel I have excelled at, I’m a stay at home mummy to my 2 boys Max and Kai.
Without the boys there would be no blog, anything I may have achieved in life and in the blog has come because of them.
I often wonder how we should measure success in the blogging community. Are you successful if you have high numbers of followers or page views? Are you a success if you are approached by PR companies and brands eager to collaborate and work with you?
Success is something that is different to everyone. My successes in life are raising my children. The big one has hit terrible twos and often he is a nightmare but on the other hand, he is so intelligent. Max has just turned 2 and can count to 10. 
Max has just turned 2 and can count to 10 (with a little encouragement) he is learning new skills every day and I really couldn’t be prouder. This is a success to me, seeing my children exceeding in life and translating this into words for my blog. Having other readers want to read my posts and often engaging and returning to read others.

I used to play the compare game ut now I realise there is no need to compare, we are all a success in our own rights!

I think this is extremely true in every venue in life. What one person constitutes as a success, another will bemoan!

This is very inspiring, some of us measure success by their careers only (unfortunately) however I agree with Kris that you can be successful as a mum and your babies can be your biggest achievement. #ablogginggoodtime
I think part of the key to success is not comparing yourself to others, like you say – accept your journey for what it is and do the best that you can for you. It’s easy to get bogged down in page views and follower numbers, but that takes all the joy out of it. #ablogginggoodtime

Quitting to be a SAHM was one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever made too, and for someone who is terribly indecisive I knew it was the right thing to do.
