We were thrilled a few weeks ago to hear from Fisher Price who asked us to join them and professional dancer and celebrity mum Kimberly Wyatt in letting you all know about their new all singing all dancing Beat Belle Toy and not only that but we, I mean Alyssa, would get one too!!

Fisher-Price has teamed up with professional dancer and celebrity mum Kimberly Wyatt to celebrate music & dance and encourage active play.

Celebrating the launch of exciting new products in the popular Bright Beats™ line, the Bright Beats™ Learnin’ Lights Dance Mat, BeatBelle™ and BeatBowWow™, the brand will be calling parents to showcase their little ones best dance moves in their very own #BeatBoBoogie!

Kimberly and her 18 month old daughter Willow will be championing the #BeatBoBoogie showing off their moves and encouraging parents and their little ones to get involved in active playtime to help children develop important social and physical skills while having fun. What did we think of the Beat Belle? Well, needless to say she was a complete hit with Alyssa. I don’t know if it is because I have been singing to her every night since she was born or what, but my little one loves music so this was perfect for her! As you can see from our little video she got very excited and enjoyed bopping and bouncing around with Belle. There is the music button which plays lots of different songs, the colours and numbers button which plays learning songs and then there is my favourite button which was the microphone record. Belle will record a short am0unt of speech and then sing it back at us – I had rather too much fun with this button! Of course you can just press Belles tummy and that plays music too but also lights up with each button pressed.

I think the thin that makes Belle unique is not the music but the fact that she actually dances too – she does wiggles and jumps and claps along with the songs… its brilliant and I hear squeals of delight when Belle begins to dance ! Beat Belle gets a big thumbs up over here and we’re looking forward to doing the #BeatBoBoogie some more!
