A Cheats Guide to being A Domestic Goddess

Let’s face it – being a mum takes up pretty much 99% of our time doesn’t it?! Well, it does mine anyway. I mean technically I am entirely responsible not only for keeping myself alive and well but also a whole other human being not only alive, but healthy and happy which combined with the fact that she is completely fearless and has no concept of danger whatsoever means that by the time she goes to bed I am pretty much ready to follow suit. This does not leave me much time to endure the duties of being a domestic goddess as well. There is the cooking, which as I am on a health kick or some new fangled diet 99% of the time means that it is never as simple as opening a packet and bunging it in the oven. There’s the cleaning of a bloody massive house which for the past year has regularly had to be scrubbed to within an inch of it’s life and kept immaculate (have you tried this with an inquisitive toddler and a human bear under your roof???!) as we have been having regular viewings and attempting to sell the house. Then finally, there is the absolute bane of my life, the thing that is never ever completely done and I think will still be there right to my dying day – the washing pile….

I’m not alone am I? I mean you all have washing piles that could rival the Leaning Tower of Pisa too right?! It’s actua white mobile phone held in someones hand with the laundrapp open on the phone with a wooden table in back ground with a pair of sunglasses on itally incredible how such a tiny person has SO MUCH WASHING. I mean, I think I wear the exact same 6 items over and over and then they need washing or they’re likely to be condemned so I will wear a random outfit I don’t actually like and then I’ll go back to the 6 items again. However, I think because I put so much effort into making sure my little girl looks lovely each and every day, the washing pile could actually in fact me my own damned fault. I have, however, discovered a solution – a cheat if you will to help bring me one step closer to the title of “Domestic Goddess” and this golden light comes in the form of Laundrapp!

“No matter how large or small your family, the never ending round of laundry can be one of the most dreaded household chores. Many homes choose to utilize launderettes, but for many of us with busy lives, sparing the time to get to the launderette can be an even bigger drain.

Laundrappa tablet being held in hands with the laundrapp open. arms are wearing something grey and there is a pile of logs in the background collects, dry cleans and delivers your clothes in pristine, freshly pressed condition.  With just a tap of a phone, tablet or laptop, customers can book a free collection and return delivery at a time that suits them. The app is completely on demand, allowing you to track your order and see the location of your driver.

Available in over 100 UK towns and cities, Laundrapp work with local drivers to offer on–demand technology for your laundry.”

It’s like literally all my clothes cleaning nightmares have had a golden light shone upon them and I have suddenly been granted a Fairy Washmother – can you imagine it! I mean even if they just did a couple of loads for me and quartered or even halved my washing that would free up so much time (not to mention money from electric and washing powder) that could be better spent sleeping… I mean having meaningful play with my little one!

So, if like me you’d like to free up some time AND see the bottom of your washing pile before you retire, then why not try Laundrapp and take a few steps closer to Domestic Goddess status. Guess what? I’ve even got a discount code for you…
